Purpose of the Visa:
If you were granted visa for a period not exceeding 27 months as a married, unmarried or same-sex partner of a person and during this period your spouse, unmarried partner or civil partner passed away, you may apply for Indefinite Leave to Remain in the UK.
Requirement of the Visa:
You must still be the spouse or civil partner or unmarried partner of the person you were admitted or granted an extension of stay to join at the time of his/her death, and each of you, before the death, intended to live permanently with each other and the relationship was subsisting at the time of the death. There is no requirement of Life in the UK Test to apply for ILR as a breaved spouse
